2. The service

Oilive is a mobile-first platform for discovering, comparing, and purchasing extra virgin olive oils. The Service includes a curated product catalog, taste profiling quiz, barcode scanner, personalized recommendations, wishlist, pantry, and tasting log.

Oilive is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• One account per person. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
• Submit false or misleading product information.
• Reverse engineer or copy the Service for commercial use.
• Use automated tools to mass-extract catalog data.

5. Content and recommendations

Oilive's curator notes, match scores, and recommendations are editorial opinions and algorithmic outputs — they are not professional nutritional, medical, or commercial advice. Polyphenol data is sourced from producers and certified labs; while we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee it. Always verify health claims independently.

6. Merchant links and affiliate relationships

Oilive links to third-party merchants from whom you can purchase olive oils. Some of these links are affiliate links — if you purchase through them, Oilive may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Oilive is not responsible for the quality, pricing, or delivery of products sold by third-party merchants.

7. Intellectual property

All content on Oilive — including editorial notes, product photography, UI design, and the recommendation algorithm — is the property of Oilive and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

Oilive is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
